Lenzkirch clock factory was considered by many to produce the finest clock in all the Black Forest. The lenzkirch crest is stamped on the back plate. This clock is serial number 179440 this number is stamped on the clock back plate and in the case(see photos).

It is an eight day time and strike clock. The clock strikes the hour on a pleasant sounding gong.

These clocks could be found all over Europe in post office and police stations.
