Grand Sonnerie clocks, sometimes call blind mans clock because every 15 min they strike the quarter and hour.

This clock features a unique movement mounting method. It is an eight- day clock by the M.P clock company (see logo). It strikes the hours and quarter on two dissimilar sounding gongs.

The case has fine quality walnut veneer and exquisite carvings. The dial is porcelain with roman numerals and is virtually flawless. Fine engravings can be seen on the weights and weight hangers.
