What Makes TickTockTony Different From Other Places You Could Purchase A Clock From?

  • We are clock sales experts. We spend approximately forty hours restoring each clock using traditional materials and processes prior to it being sold. This means your clock will be in tiptop condition and warranted to work for one year.
  • We know British clocks. Our extensive knowledge in British clocks allows us to offer only the very best, protecting your investment and allowing you to buy with confidence.

Tony and Linda moved to Southern California from Scotland in1986. They first started their business in 1999 repairing antique clocks and in 2004 decided to expand into antique clock sales.

Clocks have always fascinated Tony. As a young boy he would take old watches and clocks to pieces, just to see if he could put them back together again. Of course back then he took apart more than he ever put back together. When his parents would visit their friends, they would have to hide all the clocks to ensure he did not start to dismantle one. Over the years his skills and knowledge have developed, He now brings over thirty years of experience to customers in the unique clock repair field.

The name TickTockTony, came about as a joke by their youngest son. He would poke fun and joke about Tony's interest in clocks. The name TickTockTony quickly began to attract attention among friends and family and so the business was formally named.

Tony and Linda are originally from Halifax, a small town in Yorkshire , England . In 1975 they were married and now have two adult sons. In 1974 Tony graduated Kitson College Leeds.

The most unique clock Tony has worked on is an 11 Ft tall, 9 tube musical clock by the famous clockmaker "Tobey". This clock stands in the hall of a prestigious Orange County Private School. The clock is featured in the reference book "Long case Clocks and Standing Regulators" by Tran Duy Ly on page 420 plate 974.
