The case is flame mahogany with three finials. |

Thomas Taylor was a well known clockmaker working in the London area 1851. The movement is an original eight day time and strike. It striking the hour on an English bell. This flame mahogany case is in good condition the door has a working lock and key. The pictures on the mon dial are of higher than usual quality as would be expected from a Taylor clock. The dial was originally painted at the Francis workshops in Birmingham. |

A find walnut month-duration long case clock with 11 in dial signed jonathan Farrar from Halifax below the date aperture with seconds dial. The movement has five ringed pillars with outside count wheel and anchor escapement.
The marquetry case is walnut with a caddy top and lenticle door glass. |

During this time the best and brightest clockmakers congregated in London to attract the Patronage of the aristocracy. Broken-arch pediment, shell-carved waist door, fluted quarter columns on the waist and base, and resting on turned feet. Retains an early 19th Century grained decoration. The movement is original eight day bell strike. |

Broken-arch pediment, round hood door, fluted columns and quarter columns with brass capitals, checkered inlay on the case, and resting on bracket feet. The brass movement is eight day seven pillar three train with anchor escapement. The clock plays Westminster Whittington on a nest of eight english bells. The dial has a well preserved and very rare oval shape signed by Francis Careswell of Shrewsbury. The hood glass has a convex shape. |

This mahogany case is well-proportioned and finely veneered with an attractive maypole inlay. The dial shows both seconds and date, in the arch can be seen a country scene showing a shepherd girl with a sheep. In the dial corners are painted attractive small yellow and pink flowers. Minute and hour hands are matching engraved brass. |
