Mahogany Moon Dial by Jason Blackhurst of Weaverhamc c1840. Reference # 562.

This is an impressive eight day clock striking the hour on an english bell. The dial shows Britannica resting with a lion, has brass hands and roman numerals. The moon dial shows a ship and landscape.

The case is flame mahogany with three finials.

English Mahogany Moon dial by Taylor of London c1850. Reference # 557.

Thomas Taylor was a well known clockmaker working in the London area 1851. The movement is an original eight day time and strike. It striking the hour on an English bell. This flame mahogany case is in good condition the door has a working lock and key. The pictures on the mon dial are of higher than usual quality as would be expected from a Taylor clock. The dial was originally painted at the Francis workshops in Birmingham.

Marquetry case with 30 day movement from Jonathan Farrar c1690. Reference # 579.

A find walnut month-duration long case clock with 11 in dial signed jonathan Farrar from Halifax below the date aperture with seconds dial. The movement has five ringed pillars with outside count wheel and anchor escapement.

The marquetry case is walnut with a caddy top and lenticle door glass.

Colonial Clock Company 5 Tube Grandfather clock 1920. Reference # 539.

The Colonial Clock Company made high quality clocks from the beginning of the 20 th century. The highest quality clock had the Winterhalter movements installed. This clock can be seen in the reference book by Long case clocks and Standing Regulators by Tran Duy Ly page 106.

Very Unusual London Silvered Dial Drum Head by Lawson of London c1810. Reference # 512.

James Lawson of London is listed working as a clockmaker in 1806. To use the term London on your clocks was a privilege granted to a select group of clockmakers. During this time the best and brightest clockmakers congregated in London to attract the Patronage of the aristocracy. This clock features an unusual finely veneered, with a slender waist mahogany case. It has an eight day movement that strikes the hours on a bell.

This is a Beautiful tubular bell clock by the quality clockmaker Colonial Clock Co of Zealand Michigan USA. It has a movement of outstanding quality featuring roller ball bearings and an overhead music pin wheel.

The clock plays Westminster Chimes and strikes the hour on a matched set of five tubular bells. It also has independent shut off's for time and strike.

American Cherry Moon Dial case by isaac Thomas of Willistown C1790. Reference # 575.

Case attributed to Isaac Thomas (1721-1802), Willistown, Chester County , Pennsylvania , c1790. cherry with pine and poplar secondary wood. Broken-arch pediment, shell-carved waist door, fluted quarter columns on the waist and base, and resting on turned feet. Retains an early 19th Century grained decoration. The movement is original eight day bell strike.

Flame Mahogany 9 bell Chiming clock by Francis Careswell of Shrewsbury c1800. Reference # 576.

GEORGE III LONGCASE CLOCK. English, ca. 1800. Figured mahogany with pine secondary wood. Broken-arch pediment, round hood door, fluted columns and quarter columns with brass capitals, checkered inlay on the case, and resting on bracket feet. The brass movement is eight day seven pillar three train with anchor escapement. The clock plays Westminster Whittington on a nest of eight english bells. The dial has a well preserved and very rare oval shape signed by Francis Careswell of Shrewsbury. The hood glass has a convex shape.

The clock has an eight-day movement, strikes on the hour and Westminster chimes on the quarter, with option of silent mode. The pendulum is engraved "1787 Constitution of The United States 1987". The clock comes complete with door lock, key, and original weights.

Scottish Mahogany White Dial Clock by Dunbar of Perth c1830. Reference # 502.

James Dunbar is listed as working in Perth from 1820. Perth is in Scotland located 30 miles North of Edinburgh. The clock has an eight-day movement that strikes the hour on a bell. This mahogany case is well-proportioned and finely veneered with an attractive maypole inlay. The dial shows both seconds and date, in the arch can be seen a country scene showing a shepherd girl with a sheep. In the dial corners are painted attractive small yellow and pink flowers. Minute and hour hands are matching engraved brass.
