Very attractive flame mahogany Drop Dial fusee clock. This clock has an original 12 in dial with mahogany surround. The movement is eight day gut fusee with anchor escapement. The box is constructed of solid mahogany and has a door on either side plus a door at the bottom.

 

This clock features an original 12in dial and is an excellent example of the classic British railway clock. The movement is an eight day gut fusee with anchor escapement. The case is veneered with an exquisite flame mahogany pattern, this high quality veneer is very unusual in this type of clock.

 

Original Norwich wall Regulator. This quality timepiece was used in prominent places such as county court rooms or banks. The clock features a 13in dial surrounded by carved leaf cluster it has a weight driven eight day movement with deadbeat escapement and maintaining power mechanism, always a sign of a quality clock.

 

This 12 inch dial clock is in outstanding condition. The movement is chain drive, anchor escapement, and is the best preserved I have ever seen. The hands are original. The dial surround is oak with a nice patina.

The box is oak with two doors.

 
The dial surround is mahogany with a outstanding finish. The movement is a fusee eight day with anchor escapement by Winterhalder & Hofmeier with a very early serial # of 10228. Writings indicate that Winterhalder & Hofmeier used to import their movement to England and sell them on London Bridge. The Winterhalder & Hofmeier movements are considered to be Premier quality German movements.
 
This clock features an eight day classic fusee movement with anchor escapement and shouldered plates. The case has an attractive burled mahogany with a window in the base surrounded by carving. The grape ears would make this an excellent addition to a wine lovers home.
 
Lenzkirch clock factory was considered by many to produce the finest clock in all the Black Forest. The lenzkirch crest is stamped on the back plate. This clock is serial number 179440 this number is stamped on the clock back plate and in the case(see photos).

This clock is larger than most British Dial clock at 14 inch across the dial. The high quality eight day movement with tapered plates and fine crafted pillars date this clock c1840. The bezel is heavy cast brass with original hands.

At that time many clockmakers went out of business and the general public increasingly used public clocks for timekeeping. This style of clocks could bee seen in public houses and adopted the name "act of parliament clocks".
